WoW PvP Team

World of Warcraft has a very good PVP system, in my opinion the best PVP system ever released for an MMORPG. Nothing beats jumping into a battlefield and taking out the opposing faction. With huge battlefields and a very intense arena, WoW PVP couldn’t be better. WoW PVP gear is the bread and butter of doing PVP; you get great gear that looks amazing for these battlegrounds and arenas.

Some guys just do PVP so they can complete all the daily quests. Others play PvP in order to get the fantastic WoW PvP gear. World of Warcraft has a good honor system that is set up so that we get both honor for kills, honor for winning a battleground, and honor for finishing the daily battleground. The honor and marks you get for winning battlegrounds can be exchanged to buy equipment. There is some really cool equipment that you can get from the battlegrounds. The best gear is obtained by doing arenas, but you really need decent armor to start the arena, this is where battlefield gear comes into play. So how do we easily get the best WoW PvP gear? Well, it’s actually not that easy, but it’s very doable, and the best part about getting PvP gear is that you don’t need a raid party for this. You can register alone and stay in the battlegrounds. The best way to get a lot of honor is by doing the Alterac Valley BG. This is the longest big one and definitely the hardest.

I rarely see the Horde win this battleground, so if you play Horde, be prepared for a lot of frustration. If you want to have more fun I would suggest doing Alterac Basin, this is a really fun BG and I could do it all day. You really need to do all the BGs because you need the marks you get as well as the honor of buying the team. The most important thing is to know your class, to know how to play your class in a PVP situation, playing your class in a PVE environment is very different. I spent a lot of time researching the Hunter class for PVP, I’ve spec’d my toon to now be BM, one thing you’ll learn very quickly on a battlefield is that people hate Hunter pets. Interrupt their attacks or capture a base. So I have spent a lot of talent points to strengthen my pet. This goes with any class, find out which method works best for your class and spec and you won’t have any problems with PVP.
