Diabetes can be stopped in its tracks: a diabetes review

Most likely, you or a loved one is living with diabetes. It is part of our national epidemic of ill health. Some people claim that it is in the genetic makeup of patients. Genetics may play a role in many people’s disease, but it is doubtful if this is true for everyone. And even if it is inherited, there is likely to be a precipitating factor.

Our modern lifestyle is, at least in part, to blame for the epidemic proportions that this disease takes on in our population. It is associated with being overweight, but thin people can also have the problem. If you look around you at the grocery store, you’ll see why so many people are overweight and probably why most of them are diabetic or about to become diabetic.

We all know that soft drinks, regardless of the brand or the sweetener used, are bad for your health. Most people think simply of their fattening aspect, but the damage that soft drinks do to our bodies goes far beyond the kilos they add. We also know that chips and cookies are full of extra calories and oils that we don’t need. But they are delicious and we have to give in to our cravings. You also know that most of our prepared foods contain unnecessary salt and fat that contribute to the problem.

For whatever reason, we just can’t get it into our brains that if we want good health we must take steps to provide our bodies with the building blocks they need. For whatever reason, we keep spending our precious dollars on foods that taste good but destroy our health. The result is an epidemic of disease, including diabetes.

What can you do about your diabetes problem? You can, adjust your diet. You can visit a doctor and get medicine. Adjusting your diet is necessary regardless of the route you take to control your diabetic problem. However, in my experience with people with diabetes, medications are not up to the task for most people. Diabetes can be controlled through natural means. I could give you numerous examples of people who have controlled their diabetes using specific nutrients. I could tell you about a friend who lost his battle with diabetes after his doctor took away nutrients that greatly improved his condition. That story is in my book.

The question for you is, what steps are you going to take to overcome your problem or your friend’s problem? Do you want to find a natural way to overcome the disease or try the highly questionable drug routine?

Your health is your most important possession. To maintain it, you need adequate amounts of vitamins, minerals, and natural antioxidants, as well as essential oils. But where do you go to get the information in a form that you can easily understand? I have a very viable suggestion.
