Asus Eee 1005HA Vs Hp Mini 110 Netbook

Both of these netbook models are currently some of the most popular netbooks (not to mention some of the best) on the market. If you are currently deciding to buy a netbook for yourself, choosing between these two models can be a difficult choice. Here’s a quick guide to help you make your decision.

While the Asus Eee 1005HA (model PU17) and the HP Mini 110 have mostly similar specs, there are a couple of differences that set them apart. For example, the Asus netbook comes with a slightly faster 1.66 Ghz Atom processor and a larger 250 GB hard drive. The HP netbook, on the other hand, has a 160 GB hard drive and a 1.6 Ghz processor. If you’re someone who appreciates a lot of storage (there’s even a 500GB online storage option for the Asus model) and slightly more powerful performance, it would be obvious that the 1005HA Eee netbook would be a better buy.

In addition to the slightly more powerful specifications, the Asus 1005HA netbook also has several additional features. It has a longer battery life (up to 10.5 hours), Bluetooth connectivity, and stronger 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity (HP 110-1125NR only has 802.11b/g Wi-Fi). Despite all these extra features, the gorgeous Asus model is actually cheaper, retailing at around $333 per unit. The HP 110-1125NR currently retails for around $439 per unit.

At this point, you may be wondering if there is any reason to get the HP model. The HP netbook has some unique features. For example, its keyboard layout is still (in my opinion) the best among any other netbook. The smooth and flat design would also appeal to many. If you’re a huge HP fan and just can’t get over the comfort of the keyboard or the overall design, then the HP 110 netbook will be a great choice for you. Otherwise, the Asus 1005HA-PU17 will be a great buy overall.
