WoW – Horde Leveling Guide

If you’re just starting out in WoW as a newbie, or if you’re just starting out with a new character, you’ll most likely want to get to level 80 as quickly as possible. In this article I share some tips and tricks to help you do exactly that.

Although this article is titled as a Horde Leveling Guide, it can be perfectly applied as an Alliance Leveling Guide.

Lesson one: don’t waste time grinding

There are many World of Warcraft players who say that the fastest way to get to level 80 is to grind. I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since it was released and I know for a fact that grinding is not the best or fastest way to get to level 80.

Lesson two: search is the best option

Quests are undoubtedly the fastest and most effective way to level up a character. They’re not purely in-game to help with the story, they’re designed to help players get to level 80 and earn money and new gear along the way.

The secret to leveling up fast is searching. Quest will allow you to level up up to ten times faster than grinding.

Here are some ways you can maximize your search:

1.) Keep your quest log full

If you keep your log complete, you will eventually gain much more experience points than if you don’t complete it.

2.) Complete numerous missions before turning them in (as many as you can).

This allows you to minimize the time spent doing each mission compared to the experience gained.

3.) Use a Scorched Earth Policy

When you’re doing the last quest required to complete your quest log, make your way from one objective to another. Do this until your quest is ready to be turned in and you’ll earn a ton of experience points and some cash in the process.

4.) Rest and Relaxation

When you’re ready to log out, do so at an inn or in a capital city. Rested experience will increase much faster in these two places than in the wild. Also, the 200% experience it gives you is priceless if you want to level up quickly.

5.) Move When Missions Are Too Hard

Sometimes you may find that when you only have a few quests left in a given area, they are too difficult to complete. In this case, move to an adjacent area and do quests there which may be easier. Re-complete any unfinished mission in the original area once you have more experience points.

Leveling up in World of Warcraft is not too difficult or too complicated. All it takes is a little common sense and following a few simple steps. By using the information presented in this article, you will be able to pass the levels quickly.
