A few days ago the version of Wrath of Lich King was released in China. Compared with other countries, it was launched more than 2 years. Why wasn’t it released along with others? That because of the Chinese government.

The Chinese government thought WoW was too bloody for young people to play. If this game was looking forward to being released in China, it needs to be changed in appearance and content. Therefore, Blizzard took a long time to negotiate with China.

Now, Wrath of Lich King, this version may exist in China. However, you may find that there is something different from the original version. Some abilities on the Death Knight change a lot, of course DK’s mount is also different as he is an animated creature instead of a skeleton bird. Meanwhile, the tomb takes place when players or NPCs are dead. Although there are many changes in WoW, Chinese gamers are still eager to play this game. By the way, when WLK was not released in China, most Chinese players lived in WoW from other countries to test the new version and content.
