The main values of friendship

A good friendship lasts long if both of you have some common values to keep your relationship in good harmony. This was evident through my own experience as a teenager with my best friend.

In my high school days, I only have one close friend, I consider him my best friend forever. We have everything in common, from the food we eat, the games we play, the music we sing, etc. Usually, our classmate teased us as twins, even though we have different physical differences, he was handsome and I was not that attractive. In other words, we act as one in all aspects of what we do.

We only parted ways when we graduated from high school. I continued my university studies and he went to the city to look for work. After a couple of years, I became a teacher and he became a farmer.

6 Common Values for Friendship.

1. Loyalty. We’re both loyal to each other, we care that he doesn’t hurt either of us. We loved our relationship so much that we were always very careful not to hurt each other. Before deciding to make decisions, we always consult the pros and cons of the outcome of our decisions.

2. Trust. We always cultivate a 100% trust level for both of us. Whatever, they are the results of what we have done, we simply accept each other’s opinion wholeheartedly.

3.Honesty. This is the most important value, our good friendship lasts a long time. We have always stuck to what we think is right and we don’t blame each other. We always maintain truthfulness and openness in our dealings with others.

4. Respect. No matter that our differences sometimes dominate our relationship, we always stick to what is most acceptable to both of us. We respect each other so as not to offend each of us.

5. About. The feeling of one is the feeling of the other. When I am not feeling well, he will always be by my side to comfort me. When I am lonely, depressed and isolated, he is always there to give me inspiration and guidance on what to do. The same is true when he has experienced the same thing.

6. Support. To make our relationship more bonding, we always support each other in our homework, projects, and often help our classmates who need our help. In all school related activities in which we participate, we always tend to unite our efforts to finish the work and create an acceptable result from our teacher.

A good friendship carries these core values based on my own experience with my friend. Following them made us strong and no external obstacle tainted our closeness until he was called to the other side of the world by our creature.
