Tantric positions of the Karma Sutra

When you look at the Karma Sutra positions, you might wonder what makes one of these sex positions a Tantric position? The answer is easier said than understood, it is “awareness”. This awareness makes it possible for any ordinary kama sutra position to be enjoyed as an extraordinary position.

The first place to start with the tantric sexual position is the karma sutra position known as Yab-Yum. The word “Yab” means father, while the word “Yum” means mother. You can see this in the same light that you would see the Yang, masculine, and the Yin, feminine, in the Yin Yang of the Taoist.

Partners are equal, and neither must be on top to achieve the balance the universe intended.

In the traditional form, the Yab-Yum has the man sitting cross-legged on a firm surface. The woman will then sit facing him, with her legs wrapped around him. Her feet should be behind her back.

Partners will hug and draw attention to each other based on the spine and heart center. Each member of the couple will use her right hand and place it in the middle of the other’s back, with the left hand resting on the base of the spine.

Sitting on this matter will bring the two partners very close. Share your breath and keep your eyes open. Be gentle and present. Rocking and thrusting can take, which will cause the woman’s G-spot to experience some friction.

Another variation of this karma sutra position is when the principal sits on the edge of a bed with his feet on the floor. This might work better for those couples who are less flexible or have lower back problems.

In any of these variations, you can place a firm pillow under the woman’s buttocks to help achieve the correct angle and comfort.
