Practical Accounting Training
We are a licensed accounting firm that provides hands-on training for people who want to do bookkeeping. These are customized training programs that help our students get a job in the accounting industry. We prepare our students for Sage, QuickBooks, Xero certification and Excel software. We also help you develop your CV, provide references, create your REED profile and guide you to find the right accounting jobs.
When you take training with us, you will use all 4 accounting programs including Sage, Xero, Quickbooks, and Excel. We use real customer data and these customers range from construction, IT, retail, wholesale, and import/export businesses. This training is really important because you need to understand how different Clients go about their accounting process, how they keep records in their system and most importantly know all the VAT submissions for different industries and know how to submit them to the HMRC portal.
We have different practical training courses that you can choose from based on the skills, knowledge and experience you have in that specific training.
1. Accounting and VAT & Payroll: Basic entry level and first level work in accounting job role. Jobs you can apply for once you finish this training course are Clark Sales Ledger, Clark Purchasing Ledger, and Payroll Accountant. You would understand how to do sales journal, purchase journal, credit memo, bank check and payment, bank reconciliation and VAT submission on HMRC portal. You can earn up to £18-22k a year. 3-6 months of work experience
2. Account Assistant: The job you can get after completing our training is Financial Controller and Financial Director. You will understand how to do year-ends, close the books for the year, depreciation, salary journals, trial balance reconciliation, management report, learn all post-VAT adjustment to completion of trial balances. You can earn up to £22-27k a year. 3-6 months of work experience
3. Management and Final Accounting: the jobs that you can obtain at the end of this training are Accountant, Financial Controller and Consultant. You would understand how to do the completion of accounts, profit and loss account, balance sheet and CT00 statements. You can earn up to £35-45k+ year. 3-6 months of work experience
