My husband says he doesn’t love me anymore! How can I get his love back?
It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been married or how happy you’ve been or how difficult things have been in the past. If your husband says that he no longer loves you, it can be a very difficult and devastating thing to hear. Much of our self-esteem is wrapped up in our role as a husband, wife, mom, or dad, and hearing something like that from the man you love can make you feel like you’ve failed as a wife. This is more than likely not true; you just need to understand that the relationship is undergoing growth and this article is about how to get on the right track to win back your love.
When I talk about growth, I don’t mean positive growth that makes things better. I am referring to the growth that usually occurs in married couples where at some point in the marriage feelings, emotions and attitudes begin to change. If not handled properly and communicated effectively, the couple will begin to drift apart. While this is certainly growth, it is not the kind of growth you want! The point I want to make is that in any relationship, there will be growth. They will grow through it together, or they will grow through it separately.
1. Resist the urge to cry, pout and act hurt
2. Accept your husband’s feelings for what they are.
3. Work on yourself mentally, spiritually and physically
4. Pursue what you love to do
5. Give your husband the space he needs
6. Do not put your life on hold, depending on his every move.
7. It portrays the image of a healthy, happy and confident woman
Your husband has been honest enough to share his innermost feelings with you, even though it was obviously something you didn’t want to hear. By accepting her feelings and showing her that the two of you have an emotional connection regardless of the situation, you have something to build on. The fact that she honestly shares her feelings most likely means that he is open to the idea of trying to work out these feelings with you. This is how you will begin to win back his love.
