They say experience is the best teacher. How many times have I heard that it takes experience to be successful in network marketing and the home based business industry? A lot of people start out with good intentions, but experience tells me that once they get into the game, they usually drop the ball just short of the finish line. They then go off to another game to start over.
Network marketing and home-based business industry experience is what you get when you get what you don’t want. Most people want to be successful when they start network marketing and have a passion for the product or service that they are going to offer to people. They can’t understand why everyone they know doesn’t see it the way they do and they struggle to recruit and find customers for their products.
They gain experience by getting what they don’t want and learn by doing what doesn’t work. How many times have you heard your network marketing business make a list of all your friends and family that you think might want to start a home business or who you can tell about your home based network marketing business? We all know that experience tells us that your friends and family are not going to join you in your network marketing business. What happens when you are starting? How are you going to get the experience you need in your home business if you don’t start telling people about your network marketing company?
Network marketing is all about bringing people together and your experience is something that can be good or bad depending on how you are marketing your home business. Some people have a huge warm market and will follow you to the gates of hell just because you said there is a prize beyond the horizon. That’s your warm market of people who like you, trust you, and most importantly, believe in you. Well, how do you get those people to do that? Your experience of success must be demonstrated to those who are going to shell out their money and become a part of your home-based network marketing business organization.
Sometimes when you find someone to join your home business, you want to give them all of your experience so they don’t make the same mistakes you did. There are those who will take this approach and others who just want to know what to do. I find those who just want me to tell them what to do, never take the time to bring their own experience to a home network marketing business and just want the easy way to become successful. Well, there is no easy way to become a network marketing success unless you get the experience of failure or at least the experience of hitting the ground and hurting your knees, so to speak.
Working from home in a home business using the network marketing business model can be challenging at times, but the rewards are great. You know, when the space shuttle is launched, most of the energy that is needed to get the rocket off the ground is at the very beginning of liftoff. What would happen if NASA decided to stop the spacecraft’s momentum and shut down the engines just as the rocket begins to take off? For most people in the home-based network marketing business, that’s something they usually experience.
They cut the engines just before takeoff and transfer to another company that promises less drag on takeoff. The truth is that every company has the same challenges at the beginning when launching. If you want to reap the rewards of working from home in your own home based business, then be prepared to put all your effort into takeoff because as your ship gains momentum, the amount of effort to get to outer space becomes increasingly minor. until you’re effortlessly floating among the stars.
