Different types of laundry equipment

Do you know all the different types of washing machines out there right now? They do almost all the types you might need for the type of life situation you have. For example, there are top-loading machines that fit neatly side by side in a smaller space. These are great for those with overhead cabinets to store all your supplies like detergent (liquid or powder), fabric softener, and bleach. Of course, front-loading machines have the luxury of being able to be placed side by side or even one on top of the other (if stackable) in very small places. This is a convenient setup because it leaves room for the basket right next to it. This is generally the setting that most coin-operated laundries have.

Many people want to know which company makes the best machines. Fortunately, there are many good brands that will not mislead you. You could get a Maytag, Whirlpool or Kenmoore and never have to buy another clothes cleaning machine again. Or you can try to make a bold statement by investing in one of the more expensive designer appliances from Samsung or LG. GE, Electrolux and Danby are also excellent products.

As for those of you who’d rather not have a dryer (maybe you’ve gotten burned by improper plugs and cords, or maybe you don’t have the space), there are some great options for you too. You can set up a retractable clothes line that dries your clothes when you need them, but silently waits out of sight when not in use. Or you can get a folding or folding wooden shelf if you don’t have anything to hang a line on. These practical shelves allow you to dry your clothes in a very organized way and are easy to install and disassemble.

Remember, supplies can be expensive, and most people don’t factor in that cost. Be sure to look for coupons in newspapers and websites, as they can offer you deep discounts and help you save money in the long run.
