Astral Plane – A Look at the Astral World
Most astral travelers are very interested in two planes: the physical plane and the astral plane. The physical plane also called as the earth plane is made up of all the physical elements or beings. The astral plane, on the other hand, although very closely linked or attached to the earth plane, is a bit more complicated. Within the astral plane it is said that there is an imitation or exact copy of the terrestrial plane and all its elements.
These are not exactly copies but replicas of the physical items. Every object on the terrestrial plane has a replica in the astral sphere. One important thing to remember is that beneath flesh and blood, man is primarily spirit within the enclosure of a body. This spirit is connected to all other beings through the spirits of him.
A connection is always maintained within the spirits and therefore the astral counterparts represent the links between the spirit world and physical beings. Everything that happens on earth or the physical world has an impact on its counterpart in the astral world. Therefore, we now come to the conclusion that the astral world is essentially made up of two types of spirits: the spirits of those who have passed from the physical world and the counterparts of those who are still on the earthly or physical plane.
It is because of this fact that we exist as spirit essentially even in the physical world, that we are able to experience dreams, out-of-body experiences, etc.
There is an intense jump between the astral projection plane and the earth plane and it is through this link that spiritual guidance and help is given. The astral projection plane, therefore, is basically the connection or gateway between the physical plane and the higher phases of the spiritual world. The astral projection plane is basically called that because there is considered to be light within it that shines like stars and ‘aster’ in Latin basically refers to stars.
The astral sphere is essentially a place where a spirit would go when departing from the physical world. Every person eventually transcends as a spirit to the astral world. It is in this plane or world where a being truly tends to experience transformation, forgiveness and healing. It is where one is truly reunited with his loved ones. People often associate the astral world with evil and negativity, as it is the plane where you deal with the negative elements of yourself.
But this is far from reality or from the truth. It’s basically a plane or world where you really understand what he’s made of his life, confront yourself and his actions, and finally come to assess yourself in an unbiased way. Although some of these procedures can be difficult, the end result can be summed up in two descriptive words: healing and transformation.
