Have you ever been to a people gathering and suddenly felt overwhelmed, overstimulated, or even scared? If so, your intuitive energy channels are most likely wide open, allowing others to enter your energy body unhindered. Others may have said that you are too sensitive, as if it is something that is not normal, something that needs to be fixed, cured or corrected. It is important that you become aware of your own intuitive energy so that you can use it in the best way in your life and this may mean learning to protect your own energy so that you do not need to take everyone else with you as it can be a problem. . huge drain on your vitality.

Before entering a crowded environment or any other situation that may deplete your intuitive energy, begin to focus on your breathing to focus. Be aware of only inhaling and exhaling. When thoughts intrude, notice them, but don’t judge them. Breathing activates your positive energy, it is a lifeline for your center, to connect you with the earth. With each breath, extend your awareness to the ground. Imagine your roots forming down through the earth, through rocks and soil, mentally planting a root from your body into the center of the earth. As you breathe, feel your connection to the earth deepen. Allow the positive energy of the earth to infuse and stabilize you.

Once you feel grounded, you can surround yourself with a blanket of white light. This is your protective shield. Allow it to act as a semi-permeable membrane that allows positive energy to flow through your being while protecting you from negative and draining energies. Add other senses that appeal to you (for example, warmth or a scented scent). Feel comforted and hugged by your blanket. Know that this blanket will protect you and your energy from the exhausting external influences that may surround you. Calm any anxiety you may have, leaving you free to enjoy all the positive influences without neglecting the negative ones.
