"When will you find love?"

So many clients who are detached and longing ask the age-old question: “When will I find love?” It is actually a good astrological question and can be seen in Western astrology by many different patterns. Let’s see some of them. Of course, the most obvious element to focus on is Venus, the planet of love. (For “progressed,” think secondary or solar arc).

VENUS

Venus progressed in conjunction with the Natal Sun (or vice versa, the progressed Sun in conjunction with Natal Venus) is usually the best indicator of a year in which the universe opens the doors wide and love enters your life, and when you will attract another who has emotional feelings. for you. This is a time in life when you shouldn’t be alone. However, the love object may not be romantic or permanent. My case studies reveal that, in one case, this pattern identified the period in which a child was adopted by a parent who was never single (the child is the true soul mate), and in another, the pattern pointed to a history of love that put the last nail in a disintegrating marriage for the married couple and set the individual on an important path in life … but it did not result in marriage. In the former situation, the mother had also progressed to Venus entering H7 (another obvious predictor) and in conjunction with the Natal Part of Fortune, and in the latter, the relationship could be seen in hindsight as an important soul agreement, though it was not intended to result in permanence. Venus Progressed in conjunction with the Progressed Sun (or vice versa, Progressed Sun conjunct Progressed Venus) is very similar in nature, as would Venus in conjunction with the ruler of H7. In the latter case, the nature of the planet acting as ruler will greatly influence the type of relationship formed. For example, if Saturn, possibly a senior or serious partner; if Mercury, a younger or friendly guy.

Similarly, Venus progressed in conjunction with the Sun / or Moon / midpoint of the Descendant, the Sun progressed in conjunction with Venus / midpoint of the Descendant or the progressed Ascendant or Descendant in conjunction with the Sun / Venus would also be good. Indicators of a period on the life clock during which a loved one might appear. (My observation is that this search for love is not just about romance, because that is not always lasting. The real issue seems to be permanence in love, that is, marriage or a lasting relationship, so I will focus on H7 instead of H5.)

On the contrary, the midpoint of the Progressed Sun in conjunction with Venus / Ascendant could indicate a love relationship (depending on the rulerships of the Sun or Venus), but could just as easily indicate a period of comfort, self-love and personal beautification. . For those working with declinations, the Sun / Venus, Venus / Ascendant or Venus / MC parallels would also see similar indicators.

Of course, if any of these delicious aspects occurs at a very young age, its benefits will be wasted in terms of long-term attachments, but there are stories of young people bonding with a friend or neighbor who later becomes their true love. .. or at least his lifelong companion.

A Venusian progression towards itself, that is, Venus progressed in conjunction with Venus Natal, can only occur when Venus Natal is retrograde at birth and then turns direct during life, or when Venus Natal (direct) turns retrograde. And since Venus’s retrograde lasts about 43 days (thus 43 years by progression), being born closer to its location would better ensure enough time for this return to occur. Such a period will emphasize the nature of the natal significance of Venus while bringing its Venusian qualities to the forefront. If it is well aspected from the natal point of view, happiness can be anticipated; if you are grieving, financial, romantic, or indulgence issues can be emphasized.

OTHER PATTERNS

But in addition to these obvious involutions of Venus, there are also other auspicious patterns. A little less obvious are:

As long as the angles are involved with Venus or H7, there is a good chance that love will appear in one’s life, as Progressed Ascendant / Descendant strongly ascendant to Natal or Progressed Venus or ruler of H7, usually a positive sign for the marriage, or MC Strongly Progressed Aspecting Natal or Venus Progressed or ruler of H7, another great time for love, even if the aspects are tough (because, after all, how difficult can an aspect of Venus be?). In fact, any of these would be wonderful for scheduling a wedding, as would the H7 Progress ruler with a strong Natal or Venus Progress look. Even a less obvious aspect, such as the Ruler of H7 in a feasible aspect of an angle or a planet connected by love, could predispose to a marriage-type energy.

A progressed Venus in the main aspect of Natal Neptune is frequently encountered at times of romantic events such as weddings, but it tends to embellish emotions and cloud the reality of the relationship. Such unions will face larger than usual tests regarding the longevity of the marriage, but they can certainly survive progression if an effort is made after approval to deal with the less than ideal characteristics of the couple that would later be revealed.

Then there are relationship indicators that generally emphasize your potential, such as the Progressed Moon in Libra or H7, or Progressed Planets in H7, or even the Vertex Share when in H7. (The vertex, which is normally found in houses 5-8, based on my observation, functions as a fulcrum around which key events are formed; therefore, if in H7, the key associations will be accentuated when triggered the vertex). planetary transits towards them will certainly accentuate relationships (but such horoscopes will always deal with partners, or the consequences of the lack of them, as that was part of the life plan). Venus-Moon patterns often result in the overall satisfaction of an individual, but do not necessarily show romantic involvement; sometimes they signal the birth of children.

When it comes to harmony in a relationship once formed, look at the Progressed Venus of one partner following the Progressed Sun of another, and vice versa, or both Progressed Venuses tracking the other (a situation that is not always shown by conjunctions between comparative Venus in the natal charts, since this occurrence will be determined by the age difference between the two individuals, as well as by their natal patterns). Of course, the topic of synastry is a separate topic, to be applied after a relationship has been formed to analyze the positive and negative potential between the two horoscopes, so it does not fall within the parameters of this article.

LESS LIKELY TO BE PERMANENT

Finally, there are patterns that can spark love, but offer the least guarantee of long-term permanence:

Transiting outer planets in conjunction with Natal or Progressed Venus or the ruler of H7 will bring out the qualities of these planets, but they can be unpleasant or fleeting just as easily as the opposite, depending on the meaning of the transiting planet or the natal potential of the planet in transit. . For example, Uranus over Venus could provide an exciting but impermanent love experience, while Saturn could be restrictive or serious. Neptune would likely cause delusional fantasies about the partner or bring to life a weak or compromised person whom one wishes to rescue. And Pluto, of course, would likely offer a powerfully transformative experience that could alter one’s approach to sex, love, or money forever! The outer planet transit to H7, on the other hand, would likely highlight the need to deal closely with others, but much less likely, the arrival of love.

A FALSE FEAR

Anyone who trusts the truths of astrology must forever discard the fear that aging will ruin their chances of love. It is a myth. For example, I had a 70-year-old client, an artist, who found a suitor when her Progressed Sun was in sextile with her Ascendant while her Progressed Venus was opposite her Moon, and her Progressed Venus was trine with Neptune, crossing its South. . Node. (The last pattern shows a love connection from previous lives.) Once it is supposed to occur (by any of these aforementioned patterns), the universe will do its best to bring two people together. People will meet “accidentally” or on distant trips to places they will never visit again, or will be introduced by a third party who will never appear again in any of their lives. Coincidence or synchronicity will abound, and the non-astrologer will be amazed by such “luck,” while the astrologer will consciously nod as the Divine Plan is revealed through cosmic mathematics.

When one of these patterns enters your chart, you will see the door of love open in your heart. But it will be up to you to keep your flame burning thereafter. However, a word of caution: as I said before, Venus symbolizes love, not necessarily between two romantic partners. I have several examples in my files where one of these patterns brought a soul mate to life in the form of a beloved child. Venus can also symbolize pleasure and financial well-being. The right partner can even bring pleasant financial conditions along with love (like getting married well), if the horoscope predisposes it. But if the natal chart doesn’t, then the positive aspects of Venus will bring other kinds of love (like the previously mentioned never-married adopter, whose difficult Sun / Moon / Saturn Natal Sagittarius t-square excluded marital possibilities in the incarnation ).

CASE STUDIES

Some case studies of Venus patterns revealing strong love-based events in my archives are as follows:

The forty-six-year-old widow meets her second spouse: the semisextile of the progressed Sun, progressed Venus, and the progressed Moon to H7.

A seventy-year-old woman is courted: Ascendant in sextile of the Progressed Sun and Progressed Venus opposite the Moon.

The divorced woman meets her second spouse – He: Venus progressed in conjunction with the Sun; She: Transiting Uranus in conjunction with Venus and progressed Moon in Libra. A life-changing issue for women: Venus progressed in conjunction with the Sun.

First Marriage for an Eligible Young Bachelor: Venus Progressed in Ascendant Sextile and Sextile Node; Moon progressed to H7.
