Samsung LE32A436T 32-inch LCD TV Review

There’s no question about it, the Samsung LE32A436T is a lightweight, both figuratively and literally. But don’t get me wrong, it’s packed with everything you’d expect from a good entry-level LCD TV. It is lightweight because it is practically affordable and easy to install and transport from one place to another. One thing is for sure, it is a nice addition to any bedroom or family room. But, if you’re looking for something that will blow your mind with video and audio performance, then the Samsung LE32A436T 32-inch LCD TV may not be the best choice for you.

The Samsung LE32A436T is really good looking, although from afar you might think it looks like any other LCD TV on the market, its glossy black finish isn’t fingerprint proof, but it’s easy to erase. Like most Samsung TVs, its design is minimal, but the extra touches on its frame set it apart from the rest. And the simplicity does not end there, although it is an LCD TV that offers the highest quality, its configuration is quite easy and simple. With only 4 screws in mind when connecting it to a base and stand, all you have to do is plug it in, connect your cable or antenna, and the machine does the rest. Automatic scanning is the initial setup and although manual scanning is available, it is not really necessary.

The Samsung LE32A436T also comes with a ton of features that you normally expect from an LCD TV. First, because you already have Freeview, you won’t need a separate box – a definite money saver. Other standard features include a sleep timer, clock and on/off timer, auto channel scan, auto power off, auto volume leveller, teletext and entertainment modes including game, sports and movie modes.

Making the Samsung LE32A436T LCD TV the center of your entertainment center is relatively easy and a joy for those who own multiple devices such as a home theater, DVD player, Blu-Ray player, HDTV box, and game consoles like PS3,XBOX. 360, Wii Gold. It also has a port to use as a computer monitor. The ports are not only located on the back, but there are also some on the sides, which makes it easier and better for accessibility. You will find a variety of ports such as, 3 HDMI which features HDMI version 1.2 and Anynet+, 2 SCART, 1 component, 1 PC input, 1 composite, an optical audio output and a headphone output.

As for its sound quality, it’s slightly above average and would be somewhat impressive given that it only comes with two ten-watt speakers. If you don’t mind not having cinema-quality sound in your home, then this is enough. The sound quality can be modified, and with TruSurround technology, you can distinguish sounds in the same way you would with a 5.1 sound system. However, the Samsung LE32A436T LCD TV offers true value for money and can exceed any average TV viewing demands.
