How I reduced my bounce rate from 67% to 0.38% and doubled my traffic by making small changes!

This is the story of my blog. I used to be a lazy blogger and used to post content erratically. And, the domain name is in my name, it is very difficult to remember. And my bounce rate used to be 60-70%! Not cool, is it? And it used to have less traffic. So, I finally made some amazing changes. And then I doubled my traffic and my bounce rate dropped to 0.38%, isn’t that great?

In this article, I’ll show you what I did and what you can do to double your traffic and reduce your bounce rate.

The first thing I did was switch to a new domain, as my old domain was somewhat difficult to remember. I switched to a domain that is easy to remember, catchy, and not too long.

The second is that I have migrated from Blogger to WordPress and installed and installed the must-have SEO plugins and plugins such as Akisment, All in One SEO, SEO Automatic Links, etc.

The third is that I installed an amazing theme and made some customizations to make it look unique. Also, I added some widgets like, recent posts, popular posts, search. I have created an archive page, an about page, and other important pages.

And finally I set up a Feedburner account and a Google Analytics account, so I can keep track of my stats.

And finally, after I finished doing all of the above things, the next day I saw my Analytics and was amazed, I saw that my traffic (page views) doubled! and my bounce rate dropped 60 times, that is, dropped from 60-70% to 0.38%.

Now I will tell you how you can double your traffic and reduce your bounce rate.

1. Choose a good domain name

The domain name is the main thing that matters when blogging / internet marketing, you shouldn’t neglect it! If you have a wrong domain name, you’d better change it, the domain name should be attractive, not too long, and easy to remember. If you already have a good domain name, then there is no need to buy another domain, you can go with it!

2. Choose the best platform

Now the question is to choose the best platform, if you want to get good results / profit in a short time, the best platform for you would be WordPress, because it has some amazing SEO plugins that make your job easier! If you don’t want to invest in hosting, then Blogger would be better for you.

3. Get an awesome theme!

Now finally get an awesome theme and customize it to make it look unique. A good theme is really important because it keeps your visitors coming back again and again, and it can turn a casual visitor into a powerful visitor!
