They would be as happy with a human as with a canine.

It is important that you keep your beagle puppies when they are exploring the outdoors for the first time. You can easily lose your beagle because of a smell! It will be very difficult to get a beagle’s attention when you are tracking, so keep your beagle puppies and adult beagles on a leash.

If your beagle puppies are going to be hunting dogs, then a doghouse might be the only shelter they will ever know. Some people may think this is cruel, but again, as long as they have a warm shelter to sleep in, they really don’t mind being outside.
